Our school is registered with the Council for Private Education, which is a government statutory body maintaining strict regulation and having stringent criteria on education matters.
Private education institutions are not required to adopt either the escrow or insurance schemes if they do not collect more than 2 months worth of fees at any given point. DDI has adopted this process as the school believes that student should only pay for lessons they have attended. To further enhance security, DDI only collects fees on a monthly basis (not every 2 months). Beyond this, DDI will collect the fees at the end of each month, to ensure that students are only paying for lessons they have already attended.
All of our students are covered with 24-hour medical insurance* (with terms & conditions as in the insurance) with the hospitalisation coverage should they fall ill while studying at DDI.
We also have a feedback system to receive any feedback or grievance and we undertake to resolve the matter within 21 days.
All of our students have to sign the Standard Student Contract approved by the CPE and DDI undertakes to follow the agreements therein without fail.
Donason Deen Institution (DDI) has a conducive environment for both learning and teaching. It is well-equipped with systems and equipment to facilitate optimal academic performance.
We have two air-conditioned classrooms of sizes 15 square metres and 30 square metres, with individual capacities of 10 and 20 students respectively. This gives us a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:10 and 1:20, ensuring that every student receives maximum attention from the teachers.
Each classroom is fully-equipped and includes projectors for optimal delivery of the lessons. The room is also equipped with wireless addressing system for the teachers as well as a five-channel speaker system for pleasant sound reproduction during presentations.
The entire premises are monitored 24 hours via surveillance cameras to ensure the safety of our students and their belongings. The surveillance videos can also be viewed over the internet from any location in the world at http://donason.dvrdns.org. You will have to write to DDI to request for a password if you wish to access our surveillance footage.
Students’ admission and attendance are monitored through biometric fingerprint scanners on top of the usual signing in whenever they access any part of the DDI premises. This further enhances the safety and integrity of our student monitoring system.
At Donason Deen Institution, we strive to keep our academic standards high and we work hard towards achieving our vision and mission. All of our teachers and students are focused towards working at peak performance levels and obtaining the best possible results. We also welcome your suggestions and feedback, submitted via our feedback page. We will evaluate your contribution and will implement your suggestions if they are aligned with our school’s goals and will benefit our students.
Donason Deen Institution (DDI) is your preferred choice in education because
The ownership and management of the school is handled by a team consisting of current teachers in the school. This, in effect, means that the stakeholders are concerned about the students’ performance, beyond the business aspects of the school.
We produce our own proprietary materials for our students in collaboration with Donason Deen Research Centre, which is our sister company that provides educational product support.
By keeping our operational costs low, we are able to pass on the savings to the students in terms of value-for-money school fees.
We do not have specially allotted school holidays as our aim is to ensure that the syllabus is completed in sufficient depth. As the O level syllabus conducted in government schools is spread over a minimum period of 2 years for students in he Express stream, we believe that with such holidays, the students will not have sufficient in-depth coverage of the syllabus.
We only employ teachers who have completed their GCE O level examinations in Singapore so that they are familiar with the local learning and teaching culture.
We employ local teachers who speak good English and do not come with a hard-to-understand foreign accent.
We have a maximum teacher-to-student ratio of 1:20 which enables the teacher to give more personalised attention to every student.
Our continued success and sustainable growth has been possible due to our students’ excellent academic performance.
Through a disciplined approach towards punctuality, regular hard work and constant feedback to parents, we aim to instil in students good work ethics.
At DDI, we do not compromise on the quality of education for cost savings. Our first priority is the students’ performance. We look forward to meeting you if you share our view.
