  • Member of the Institution of Engineering & Technologist [fka IEE] (United Kingdom)

  • Member of the Institution of Engineers of Singapore.

  • Member of the Old Rafflesian Association (Singapore).

  • Hypnotherapist and was a member of National Guild of Hypnotists (California), Florida Society of Professional Hypnotherapists (Florida) and The American Board of Hypnotherapists (New Hampshire).

  • Publications: Self Hypnosis for Students, Achiever's series Chemistry for O levels, Neuro-reprogramming manual.

  • 15 years of teaching experience.


Mr. Prem Ananthan, B.Eng



Credibilities:


  • Holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics.
  • 6 years of teaching experience.

Mr. Tan Huan Terng, B.Eng (Hons)



Credibilities:


  • Holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics with 1st class honours from the National University of Singapore.
  • On the Dean's List for three consecutive years at NUS.
  • OCBC scholar.
  • Scored 11 distinctions for his O level examinations.
  • Scored 4 distinctions for his A level examinations with distinctions for his Mathematics and Physics special papers.
  • 6 years of teaching experience.


Roles & Duties performed by Academic Board members:


1.


Ensure the content and duration, entry and graduation requirements of the modules or subjects are appropriate.

2.


Approve the deployment of teachers based on requirements stipulated by the CPE.

3.


Facilitate the implementation and comply with the policies stipulated by the CPE.

4.


Review the academic policies and procedures annually.

5.


Sets the selection criteria and minimum qualifications of staff.

6.


Approve shortlisted academic staff before recruitment.

7.


Ensure minimum criteria for academic staff qualifications (also applicable for adjunct academic staff) must meet the requirements stated in Private Education requirements.

8.


Approves the design and development outcomes of all courses, including any refinement made due to the review process.

9.


Evaluate and approve any adoption of courses which are designed and developed by external organizations.

10.


Endorse curriculum developed by the DDI (in-house designed and developed).

11.


Approves outcomes and recommendations (if any) of the curriculum review process approves the academic staff deployment.

12.


Responsible to stipulate the optimum teacher-student ratio for every course and the mode of delivery (lecture, tutorial, practical etc) to maximise learning outcomes.

13.


Monitors the delivery of curriculum to ensure consistency and high quality of teaching.

14.


Ensure that for each course, the assessment principles, processes, methods and practices are aligned with the learning outcomes and contents.
